AUGUSTA, Ga. — Wyndham Clark summed up his Augusta National struggles in one word: putting.
“I think I had nine three-putts this week, which is unprecedented for me,” said Clark, who finished the 2025 Masters at 5 over.
In reality, it was seven 3-putts. In four days, the world’s No. 11 player used 119 total slaps.
“You hit it to 12 feet and you're playing two feet of break,” he said of Augusta National. “If you miss it, it goes by four, five feet. You can easily three-putt.”
On Sunday, the 31-year-old started hot with birdies on Nos. 1 and 2. Then, the wheels came off. Struggling with green speeds, Clark played his final 16 holes in plus-4.
“I've played nice each day starting wise,” the Colorado native said. “I just struggled scoring here.”
Clark said he’ll now turn his attention to Harbour Town.
“I'll do a light day Monday,” he said. “Then back to work Tuesday, Wednesday.”
