WWE Fans Hijack YouTube Sections to Support R-Truth originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
If WWE thought fans were going to forget the latest Superstars released from the promotion's roster, they were mistaken. Days after news spread about the release of R-Truth and Carlito, fans hijacked the comment sections of almost every video on the promotion's YouTube channel following Raw to make their voices heard.

The most viewed video hours after Monday's episode of Raw was the climactic sequence at the end of the Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed vs. Jey Uso and Sami Zayn tag-team match. Rather than discussing the match, sequence or story, fans dropped the following comments.
“Justice for R-Truth”
“We want Truth.”
“R-Truth lives matter
”
“Thank you R-Truth ”
That section wasn’t about Bron Breakker or Jey Uso anymore. It became an open letter to WWE from fans who aren’t ready to let go of a character they’ve supported for decades.
R-Truth is easily one of the most beloved characters in WWE.
It just doesn't feel right to see him separated from WWE unless it was because of retirement. R-Truth deserved to leave WWE on his own terms.
These kinds of reactions don’t happen without years of equity. Truth built that with consistency, humility, and the rare ability to win over every generation of fan.
R-Truth had been doing solid work of late. His angle with John Cena, which turned out to be his final match, was classic Truth and he killed his spot.
Now, those fans are making sure WWE knows exactly what they lost—and they’re doing it on every upload the company posts.
