I'm talking about QB's on the team in a single year, not comparatively. For example, our QB's this season were Palmer, Stanton, and Gabbert. Last year, Palmer & Stanton. This is a poll to make it easier. I'm limiting this to the Arizona/Phoenix Cardinals:

2011-12 give 2010 a good battle.

Do we really want to debate Kolb over Anderson? 2010 had MOXIE!

1991 was pretty bad as well

Chris Chandler was a solid QB....
its a tough list... do we count total suckage?? Or just grade a year based on the suckiest individual?

I guess that shows how low our standards are for Cardinals QB. Chandler played in three games (started two, lost both, completed 50% of passes, 57% rating.

Personally, I don't think it's even close. 2010 has got to be the worst QB crew this team has ever seen. Although 1991 is pretty fricken close.

2012 was just as bad as 2010 in my opinion and probably worse after the 4-0 start was out of the way.

1991 - Tom Tupa was a punter for chrissakes! :bang:
To be fair, it wasn't his fault he was thrust into the starting job. Had Rosenbach not blown out his knee which led to him losing his heart, he might have been around for several years.

Any group that had Tony Sacca in it had to be given consideration but 2010 was the worst.

I remember when the Cards drafted Sacca. I was watching the draft with a bunch of friends and jokingly said watch them take Tony Sacca.

They did :bang:

2010 by far in my era. Playing Max Hall was terrible. I remember people on the board used to call him the Keebler Elf lol.

10 Stan Gelbaugh 29 qb 6 3 0-3-0 61 118 51.7 42.1
17 Chris Chandler 26 qb 3 2 0-2-0 25 50 50.0 57.8

Total Passer rating of 56.4

If you look at the QB's for 2010;

3 Derek Anderson 27 QB 12 9 2-7-0 169 327 51.7 65.9
19 John Skelton 22 qb 5 4 2-2-0 60 126 47.6 62.3

1991 was the worst, and it is NOT even close. Time has drained the memory of the suckiness of 1991

I go with '89. Hogeboom threw 19 ints in 14 games. While Tupa and Rosey got the leftovers.
As a group they had 17 TDs and 29 INTs.

Edit...
1991 had a 10/25 ratio - with Tupa tossing 13 Ints
2010 had a 10/19 ratio - Anderson tossing 10 Ints

the difference is Fitz... the 2010 QB's sucked far worse... but at least they had Larry to toss it up to...hell,...I could rack up a 60 QBR with Larry to throw to

OMG. If I am reading this correctly, in the last 30 years we have only draft 2 guys that could be considered a legit QBOF. Lomax and Plummer?

Well, if we're being accurate, Lomax was drafted almost 37 years ago, 1981 so over the last 30 years it's been Plummer if we're talking QB's who panned out.

Of all the QB's on the list I presented, 1 actually started the Super Bowl after playing for us. Who was it?
