I agree with your take on winning 10 games.

I agree with your point that a better defense will help the offense.

I do not share your take that it isn’t a concern. Go back and look at the 2 Seahawks games and the last Rams game. There you will see our Gs being dominated. If the G positions aren’t being stabilized this team will struggle against good d-Line, be good enough to make to the play-offs, have zero chance against the premier NFC teams.

PJJ is just below pro-bowl and I expect him to take a step forward.
Froholdt is a very good starter just below pro-bowl level.
Williams (if healthy) is an average starter.
Brown should be your weakest starter or in an ideal situation your back-up interior.

The last spot is big ? Adams showed he fits the scheme, played okay against bad teams, but was really bad in pass protection and against good DTs.

I am agreeing that it is a concern, just not the biggest. More of a playoff concern than anything else I would say. It is why I think we will lose in the 2nd round, and won't win 11 games during the season.

The line needs to be above average imo for bigger things to happen this year.

If for some reason the line is very good, our other holes are very minor. Our ceiling this year imo is a loss in the nfc championship game but I highly doubt we get that far.

Just found this. Basically show that even if worst case scenario is true and the oline is subpar, Kyler should be fine.

two things can be true at the same time

over 17 games the o-line performance was above average, especially considering how they rushed the ball.

and

over the last critical 6 games, injuries shuffled the line and caused their performance to be below average

Those articles look right to me. Our O-line was good. Losing Jonah and Hernandez hurt but Paris, Brown and Froholdt were solid all year. I’m expecting Chris Jones to be another solid lineman for us. He has the feet and strength to be a solid RT.
