I have trouble visualizing him in that role too. But I would have never put him in the Tangerine role he played in Bullet Train - he was excellent there so I'll give his Bond a chance.
See I could see him in that role and thought he nailed it. I love Bullet Train.

Prior to Bullet Train I really didn't know much about him other than Kick-Ass and his Marvel work. But I thought both Aaron and Brian Tyree Henry were excellent in Bullet Train.

Steve McQueen is a rumored target to direct the next Bond film which would seem to increase the possibility of the next Bond being a person of color.
