It didn't take long for Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels and wide receiver Terry McLaurin to establish themselves as one of the top QB/WR duos in the NFL.

In Daniels' phenomenal rookie season, he threw 13 touchdown passes to McLaurin. That established a new career-high for McLaurin, whose previous high was seven. McLaurin caught three more touchdown passes in Washington's unexpected run to the NFC championship game.

If you were to rank the top QB/TE or WR duos, where would Daniels/McLaurin rank?

Pro Football Focus recently ranked each NFL team's top QB/pass-catcher duos, with the two Commanders ranking fourth.

Daniels came in at No. 6 in PFF’s quarterback rankings for the 2025 season, while McLaurin cracked the top 10 of the wide receiver rankings. What puts this duo even higher on this list as a collective is the fact that Daniels earned an elite 92.9 PFF passing grade when targeting McLaurin and Marcus Mariota earned an elite 93.2 PFF passing grade when targeting McLaurin while Daniels was hurt.

Here are the three duos ranked ahead of Daniels/McLaurin:

  • 1. Joe Burrow & Ja'Marr Chase
  • 2. Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown
  • 3. C.J. Stroud and Nico Collins

This was based on last season. Otherwise, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce would've ranked No. 1.

It will be interesting to see what Daniels and McLaurin do for an encore now that McLaurin has Deebo Samuel opposite him.
