As a result of the program's recent showing in Hoover, the Alabama Crimson Tide are back on the rise according to the latest USA TODAY Sports College Baseball Coaches Poll entering the NCAA Tournament.

With the Top 25 poll updated Monday, Alabama rose one spot up to No. 20 nationally after the SEC Tournament, an event this past week where the Crimson Tide went 1-1 with a second round exit.

As to what that run in Hoover included, Alabama opened play Tuesday in the first round with a 4-1 victory over No. 16 seeded Missouri. Alabama, the SEC Tournament's No. 9 seed, then fell to No. 8 seeded Tennessee during the second round, 15-10.

Now sitting at 41-16 overall, Alabama, looking ahead, has been selected to play in the 2025 NCAA Tournament where the Crimson Tide are the No. 2 seed in the Hattiesburg Regional. The Crimson Tide's first game will come Friday, May 30 against Miami.
