I think that was quietly the plan or optimistically the plan. Let's run 2021 back and see if we can overperform the second half in a shakier division and conference. The Rams have sucked all season, even with Stafford. Jimmy G was already SF's backup QB (even though one could argue he was better than Trey Lance anyways). Seattle and Geno Smith is all smoke and mirrors, definitely not as good as record shows (we should have beat them twice with any competent coaching).
