Fans of the Green Bay Packers can expect to wait until almost 10:00 p.m. CT before the team makes their scheduled pick at No. 23 overall during Thursday night's first round of the 2025 NFL draft.

A look back at the two previous drafts helps light the path to when the Packers could make their pick in the first round, but fans should also expect a reasonable window of time for the 23rd pick to be made, depending on trades and time spent on the clock during the first 22 picks.

Last year, the NFL announced the pick of Brian Thomas Jr. at No. 23 overall at 9:54 p.m. CT. In 2023, the league announced the pick of Jordan Addison at No. 23 overall at 9:55 p.m. CT.

But there also appears to be a range of potential times. In 2022, the selection of Kaiir Elam at No. 23 overall came at 9:37 p.m. CT. In 2021, the selection of Christian Darrisaw at No. 23 overall came at 10:09 p.m. CT.

Trades can affect the speed of the draft. Fewer trades early would mean a quicker round. More trades slow down the process.

To be safe, Packers fans should probably tune in around 9:30 p.m. CT just in case the first half of the first round moves quicker than the last two years, as was the case in 2022.

The first round starts at 7:00 p.m. CT in Green Bay. Teams can be on the clock for 10 minutes in the first round, and 22 picks need to be made before the Packers come on the clock.

Last year's first round took three hours and 36 minutes to complete.

Of course, all this information can become worthless if the Packers decide to trade up or down the board on Thursday night.

Last year, the Packers selected offensive lineman Jordan Morgan at No. 25 overall at 10:12 p.m. CT.
