Would love to bring in a guy like Alex Smith. Think he’d be a very solid reserve and good mentor for Kyler

Fitz getting $10 million? Wow, good for him.

Like others say, why was Hundley inactive the game Murray went down. Bet they would have won that game if he played instead of Streveler. Also, KK didn't do Steveler any favors on his play calling either.

Heard Alex Smith may go back to KC as a backup. Tyrod Taylor makes the most sense as a backup. RGIII is garbage.

I was wondering the same thing. Haven't heard anything regarding what the Cards plans are for Backup QB. Hated how they handled it last year.

Think back up QB will be in the second wave of signings. Likely looking at a veteran for 1-2 years for a nominal salary. Tyrod fits the mold and I like him. Alex Smith is interesting as who knows what his market will look like and is he looking at a place where he has a chance to be QB1. If not, I really like him as our QB2

We have a backup, his name is Chris Streveler. I guess you guys aren't paying attention.

oh my lord... I thought you were talking about Larry Fitz at first blush. I almost had a heart-attack thinking we gave him that much money.

With Taylor getting 13 mill from Houston, it looks like they are preparing to play hard ball with Watson.

that is not a good decision.

Look for somebody like Mond or Newman in the 3rd to 5th.

What’s Max Hall doing these days? It really is scary to think we have no legit backup

Mitchell T looks pretty good from here. I doubt we will make the move.

Why would we pick up a QB who's incapable of throwing to his left? That'd be a horrible decision. Cards should pick up RGIII. He's a good system fit and he won't be asking for much.
