What books are you reading/read that you would like to see turned into a mini-series?

Of course, the Man in the Iron Mask has been made into film several times, some with wholesale revisions, and with varied critical reception.

Agreed, but....

Abominations all of them. :D

Tell the whole story from The Man from Meung to The Death in Maastricht.

Seriously, look at what Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, even the Chronicles of Narnia are doing. Big money with plenty of material for a series of 4 to 5 movies. There is oppourtunity there.

These books are classics but hardly intense reading. It is old school, "Men of Action" storylines.

It would need to be done by HBO or Showtime but Brian Lumley's Necroscope would make a nice mini-series.
