West Virginia has jumped into the mix for one of Michigan’s top 2027 prospects.

Belleville (MI) wide receiver Charles Tre Britton announced an offer from the Mountaineers after being evaluated by inside receivers coach Logan Bradley.

Britton, 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds, already holds more than 27 Division I offers, a list that includes several of the nation’s premier programs.

As a sophomore, Britton put up big numbers with 32 catches for 817 yards and 11 touchdowns, showing his ability to stretch the field and create explosive plays for Belleville High School.

Rivals currently ranks him as a three-star prospect, the No. 69 wide receiver nationally, and the ninth-best player in the state of Michigan for his class.

West Virginia joins a growing list of schools, but adding Bradley and the Mountaineers to the table gives Britton another major option to consider.
