Hey guys, there is a pending trade in the league right now that I'm hesitant to approve. I probably will, but I wanted some second opinions. If those of you that are still active (and not part of the trade) can look at it and give me your opinions on it, I'd be grateful.

I dunno, both teams are in contention so I can't see there being any reason to just get rid of good players. Without taking a good look at their rosters the team not getting Yao is better off early on, but when Yao returns that could change things.

I would have nixed the Yao trade due to his injury.

If I were Mulli, I wouldn't do it (giving Redd and Big Ben, his two best players, for an injured Yao) but long-term, it's maybe a valuable option, if Yao is out for 6 weeks as initially reported.

When I first saw that trade, my reaction was "what the hell?!". I came here to discuss why anyone would give away Redd and Wallace and see you guys are already talking about it.

It looked like a real bad trade for whoever was trading away Redd , esp. since Yao is injured. I haven't had a chance to look at their rosters to reason why they're doing this though. One of them must be super drunk from the holiday binge.

Miniditkas weren't winning any championships this year. Ben Wallace doesn't have much left after this year or next. Yao does. I figured it was worth a shot.
