Probably not but there is also a perplexing sentiment on this board that he is overrated.
As a play designer, I consider Shanahan arguably the best in the league. As a play caller, I often scratch my head at his calls. Especially in big games as he tends to abandon his run game even when it’s dominating (think the “28-3” Pats-Falcons SB [he was Atlanta’s OC] or the first SF-KC SB matchup).

My grandsons third birthday is being celebrated this Sunday. It has a football theme. Here is his cake. Everyone at the party won't like it, but I raised my kids right. My daughter is a cards fan and my SIL is a peckers fan. :biglaugh:

conner 230 lbs
benson 220 lbs

cado and bam 209 lbs each (bam is 2" taller)
murray 207 lbs

or is it going to be a pump and dump with the defense knowing we have flyweights in the backfield - will petzing now trust murray 3rd and short?

This injury thing is ridiculous. Particularly in the secondary. Top two RB’s on top of that. This is not happening to everyone and is fact vs. excuse.

The Niners were playing without their QB1/WR 1/WR2/TE1/and DE who’s Defensive Player Of The Year Candidate.

And they went on the road and beat the division leader.

Injuries are an excuse. Period.
