We couldn't have used a 7th round pick on Milton Wright?

I thought he had some upside and for a 7th?

Now he's a FA and can sign with anyone

Kyler must've really hated Kliff and Keim or just realized the Arizona Cardinals under their leadership was total amateur hour.

That, or he had a tough conversation with Michael and Monti.
same thought here-- its just remarkable the difference in attitude from Kyler.

"The things we were doing weren't sustainable for success." Thats a pretty direct criticism of Kliff

i have heard other reports that he is fully bought in to the new offensive philosophy -- which makes you wonder about the "Kyler hates being under center" reports.

its probably both of the above + some maturity

I mean, everything's peachy until you get you keister chewed out. Kyler literally has zero expectations or required performance now and for the next few months. We'll see.

Kyler definitely has no idea what's required for sustainable success, so hard to understand how he comes to that opinion.

"I've got to respect the person or understand the ins and outs or the rhymes and reasons for what we are doing," Murray said. "I'm going to listen. I'm going to be coachable and I'm going to do it to the best of my ability, but if the (expletive) ain't working, at some point, we all have to look in the mirror.
"As far as growing from my rookie year to now, learning how to be one with your emotions, understanding how to talk to people. Some people are able to take the harsh way, and I am naturally that way, or do I need to give them a little love and that's part of the quarterback position. … And (learning) what can I do better, how can I be better, how can I make the guys around me better? It's a team sport. We all have to be locked in."

Easy to say I told you so BUT I clearly recall KK saying (sic) that after the first game of the season, THAT'S THE FIRST GAME MIND YOU, the team was not ready to play and it was my fault. At that point if I wore the dark suit, he would have been history.

Kliffs MO was always to take the blame after a loss. It's what a head coach should do after a loss (Looking at you Wilks).

Obviously this article is intended to paint Kyler in a good light but it might be one of the best pieces he has participated in to date.

It reinforces the concept that Kyler and Kliff were just not a good fit from a personality standpoint. I can see where Gannon's very different personality and demeanor would bring provide a solid balance to Kyler's.

Kliff definitely believed it was his role to fall on the sword regardless. I don't know if that approach resonates at the pro level as well as it does at lower levels.

I think the different personality/demeanor will help, but I also think if it goes bad, KM will likely react in similar fashion.
