Webster rivals Schroeder, Thomas clash for Section V softball title: Score, updates

Top-seeded Webster Schroeder will try to repeat as they meet No. 3 Webster Thomas in the Section V Class AA softball final Saturday.

Schroeder is seeking its fourth title since 2021. The Warriors defeated crosstown rival Thomas in last year's title game. Thomas' Titans clinched its fifth straight finals appearance, winning the Class A1 championship in 2023.

In Thursday's semifinals, Schroeder defeated No. 5 Bishop Kearney 3-0 while Thomas beat No. 2 Penfield 7-0.

The Schroeder-Thomas game is scheduled for 10 a.m.
