Watch as Indianapolis Colts' offensive line coach Tony Sparano Jr. fields punts to conclude the team's final minicamp practice last week.
Wait, Sparano? Fielding punts?
As noted in Joel Erickson's minicamp recap for the Indy Star, head coach Shane Steichen likes to conclude minicamp with a fun competition that puts the offense against the defense.
This year, it was Sparano, representing the offense, and defensive line coach Charlie Partridge representing the defense, in a punt-catching competition.
"Sparano settled under two punts and hauled them in; Partridge had a little trouble reading the punt and didn’t catch either of his two attempts," Erickson wrote.
Erickson added that the offense made sure to let the defense hear all about the end result.
The Colts will reconvene for training camp on July 22nd.
