The NFL will release the full 2025 regular season schedule on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET. A few games, including all international games, have already been announced, but most of what we know right now is who the Washington Commanders' opponents will be this fall and where those games will be played.

Despite not knowing when these games will take place, CBS Sports recently determined 10 must-see matchups taking place this fall, and the Commanders landed on the list twice. Number 10 on the list was the rematch between the Commanders and the Chicago Bears.

Remember how the thriller last season between the Bears and Commanders ended? Jayden Daniels led the Commanders to a comeback victory against the Bears with a Hail Mary touchdown pass with no time left on the clock. The Bears dropped nine in a row after the loss while the Commanders took that momentum and rode it to a surprising NFC Championship game appearance. The Bears have the 2024 No. 1 overall pick in Caleb Williams and the Commanders have the No. 2 overall pick in Jayden Daniels.

The Bears have an entirely new coaching staff in 2025, so this matchup isn't going to look like last year's matchup did. Jayden Daniels and Co. have an improved offensive line and more options to receive the ball, and while the defense didn't see major changes, it saw enough to say there is improvement there, too.

The second game featuring the Commanders was number six on the list.

Another revenge game is on the docket, as this one also takes place in Washington. The Commanders upset the Lions in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs, blowing Detroit out at Ford Field when the Lions were the No. 1 seed. Jayden Daniels and the Commanders are must-see TV in 2025, and the Lions are still one of the league's top teams. This should be a slugfest.

The Lions will absolutely be out for blood after the Commanders' 45-31 victory in the playoffs, but they'll be doing it with a new offensive coordinator and a new defensive coordinator after Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn found head coaching gigs in 2025. Their players remain largely the same, and Dan Campbell remains the head coach, but there will still be an adjustment period.

The Commanders will travel more than two-thirds of NFL teams this season, partly because their travel mileage includes a trip to Spain, but they have trips all over the country in 2025. It's not going to be easy to replicate what they did in 2024, but this team certainly has the ability to do so right now.
