It's time to vote for the Petoskey News-Review Athlete of the Week brought to you by Harbor Brenn Insurance Agencies and Auto Owners insurance!

All results come from athletic performances from Monday, May 19 to Saturday, May 24.

The Athlete of the Week last week was Charlevoix track and field standout Hunter Eaton. Eaton has had a record-setting campaign for the Rayders on the track this season. Only a sophomore, he's shined in distance events for Charlevoix, with state finals qualifying and regional title in the 800, 1,600 and 3,200. Eaton earned the win behind 50.13% of the vote, with Petoskey's Logan Beer runner-up.

You can vote for this week's athletes from Tuesday, May 27 to 5 p.m., Friday, May 30.

Look for another Athlete of the Week brought to you by Harbor Brenn Insurance Agencies and Auto Owners insurance to start back up next week, back to a Monday start after this week's holiday.

Sadie Bush, Boyne City softball

Bush had a heck of a performance against Kingsley. She went 4 for 4 in the opener with two doubles and a homer, then went 3 for 4 and added another homer in game two.

Logan Wadkins, Charlevoix track

Wadkins set PRs and was runner-up in the Northern Shores in both the 100 (11.32) and 200 (23.29) meter dashes and also helped the 4x200 meter relay team to a win on his home track.

Korbyn Russell, East Jordan baseball

Russell earned the AOTW honor in early April and was too good to keep from it again. He struck out 13 in a perfect game pitched against Mancelona last week, then went 2 for 4 with a home run in game two. Russell was also named a MHSCA Rich Tompkins Multi-Sport Athlete Award recipient last week.

Lily Premo, Petoskey soccer

Cal Royce, Boyne City baseball

Royce had an impressive outing against Kingsley, going six innings with three hits allowed and 12 strikeouts in the win. He also drove in two runs in game two, then doubled and scored three runs later against Gaylord.

Gabi Rempe, Harbor Springs track

Rempe, only a freshman, set a new PR in the 3,200 (13:11.24) during the Northern Shores championships last week, then also helped the 4x800 meter relay team to a win.
