BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Virginia Tech softball outfielder Cori McMillian got another All-American honor Tuesday. McMillian has been named to the first team of D1softball All-America team. McMillan leads the nation in home runs with 31. She became the first ACC player to hit at least 30 home runs in a single season and one of just 17 players in Division I history to achieve the milestone as well. This past season she was named the ACC player of the year. McMillan was drafted fourth overall in the inaugural Athletes Unlimited softball league draft by the Bandits.
