Really cool that the roof of the arena, on the exterior, is a digital easel and the score is emblazoned on the display. The Rooskies built a gorgeous venue.

Why was the same lad taking all the shootout (pentalies shots or whatever) at the end, does it not rotate through the team?

They did so with all the scores except the US-Russia score. Sore losers.

It's a special (and silly, IMO) Olympics rule. Three different players have to take the first three shots. If it's still tied after that, the same player's allowed to take the shots over and over again.
