Lindsey Graham will surely have some new BS spin for this by the morning, but we are looking at a criminal conspiracy headed by the President of the United States. William Taylor's opening statement is explosive...........

The 3 Big Reveals In Taylor's Bombshell Testimony On Trump's Ukraine Scheme

Sept. 1: Ukraine is told military aid is being withheld for probes

Taylor’s prepared statement described the frenzied weeks after Trump placed a hold on military aid to Ukraine that had been authorized by Congress.

Even after Politico broke the news of the freeze on Aug. 28, it wasn’t Taylor’s understanding that the hold was connected to Trump’s demands that Ukraine open a Biden-related probe and a probe into conspiracy theories about the 2016 election.

The connection was only made for him four days later, during a Sept. 1 conversation with a National Security Council official, Taylor testified.

Sept. 7: Trump wants Zelensky to announce probes into ‘Biden’ and the 2016 election

Taylor spoke to Morrison several more times after the Sept. 1 phone call. During a Sept. 7 phone call, Morrison recalled to Taylor a conversation that Sondland said he had had with President Trump.

According to the account, Trump had denied to Sondland that there was a quid pro quo.

“But President Trump did insist that President Zelensky go to a microphone and say he is opening investigations of Biden and 2016 election interference,” Taylor said of Morrison’s account of the Sondland-Trump call.

Sept 8: Frozen aid is at a “stalemate” unless Zelensky announces probes

Taylor went to Sondland again, who discussed on the phone with Taylor his conversations with Trump and top Ukrainian officials, according to Taylor’s testimony.

Again denying the quid pro quo, Trump still wanted Zelensky to “clear things up and do it in public,” Sondland allegedly told Taylor.

Sondland told Taylor that he delivered the message to Zelensky and his aide Yermak, telling them there would be a “stalemate” unless Zelensky “cleared things up”

Zelensky agreed to do an interview on CNN announcing the probes, according to Taylor’s account of what Sonland told him.

It's too bad that "government workers" have gotten a bad name. The vast majority of them are hard working slobs, just like everyone else, just trying to feed their families and have a life.

My father went from 101st Airborne in WWII to a 30 year career as a civil servant in the Defense Department. He worked until he, like many of his co-workers, lost his health because of the crap they had to put up with.

I wish he’d lived to see this day. He’d have been so damn proud of Ambassador Taylor.

Civil servants are the last line of defense. They are those who toil in unremarkable positions for unremarkable compensation, who understand and agree to enforce those laws passed by others, oft times to their own detriment, because they love this country and because they believe in their job.

I have found myself many a time face to face with a civil servant - be it in the construction or legal field - and I have always found them generally to be helpful, obedient to the law, and friendly so long as you viewed them as a guide, and not an enemy.

But make no mistake, Trump has depleted the US Government faster than I could have possibly imagined. The rank-and-file civil servant are now the last line of defense to preserve this country's institutions, not to mention it's institutional knowledge and adherence to the law. And they're on their last leg.

So it sounds like based on Taylor's testimony they're going to bring back several witnesses including Sondland who could be in real jeopardy now because either he perjured himself, Taylor perjured himself(very unlikely) or there has to be some REALLY good explanation for why Sondland's testimony is so different from Taylors.

They should probably bring in Bolton first, hope he sings(see what I did there) and then bring in Sondland because it sounds like Bolton if he talks could really corroborate much of what Taylor said.

Remember, there's a reason the GOP and Trump were so clear about no Quid Pro Quo, they knew he could be impeached even without one but WITH one, that's not even debatable it's a crime.

The new GOP/ Trump administration argument is it can’t be quid pro quo because the Ukrainians weren’t aware Trump was trying to unduly influence them.

Bernie Madoff is sitting in jail thinking, “Why didn’t t I think of that!?

What an absolutely idiotic argument. It's something you'd expect from Jon Lovitz...
