MONTREAL – Another Valentina Shevchenko title fight is official, this time against Manon Fiorot at UFC 315 after champion and challenger made weight Friday.
Shevchenko (24-4-1 MMA, 13-3-1 UFC) will attempt to register her 10th UFC title win and the first defense of her second women's flyweight championship reign when she takes on challenger Fiorot (12-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) in Saturday's co-main event at Bell Centre (ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPN, ESPN+).
As always, Shevchenko was professional on the scale during official weigh-ins at the UFC host hotel. She came in a pound under the title limit at 124 pounds. Fiorot came just two fighters behind her and was 125 in her first title opportunity.
