We cant afford DHop and Hill....unless we are going to trade Kyler and go with a cheaper QB for the next few years.

Plus, I think Hill is a complete dirt bag. But he is fast.

We could afford him if we really wanted to. It would mean completely giving up on other parts of the team though.

This!

His base is $3.5 million. You could extend him and make it work long term.

The trade price tag is the issue. Randale and two seconds? Probably more.

Exactly. If Kyler was going into his 2nd year instead of his fourth, you could probably pull the trigger and make it work... like the Rams this year.

and if the Cardinals are considering using a #1 on a WR, you would hope they would be in the conversation.

The problem is using a 1, (and probably more) and then paying that ginormous salary for years to come.

I wonder KC would consider trading Budda and a late pick for him. If the plan is to load up on offense and hope the defense doesn't allow 30+ each time, might as well trade away our most tradable asset on defense.

I don't think they will do it but they could certainly make it work if they wanted to. The salary cap is a myth.

They could, but you still have a lot of cap tied up in your WR room. There still has to be a balance so somewhere else would pay the price.

On saying that, I certainly wouldn't moan about having Tyreek across from Nuk.

I doubt it happens, not least of which he would surely want to go somewhere where he is clear #1.

How would the #Chiefs begin to replace superstar Tyreek Hill? Sources say #Packers free-agent WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling is on his way to Kansas City today for a visit. No deal imminent, but a logical option to help fill the void. Speed for speed.
I suggested Scantling weeks ago and was told he was garbage by many. Guess he might be good enough for the Chiefs to replace Hill. Huh.
No to the Hill idea. Lot to do about nothing.
