Donald says no, and the media drops it.

    Shameful.

If it was Clinton's returns, they would be hounding her day and night, claiming that it PROVES she is hiding something. But as usual, the media gives Donny-boy a pass.

I have no interest in Hillary or Trumps tax returns. Or any candidates really.

    But that is me.

How did they drop this? I just watched CNN and MSNBC surrogates bring this up again last night in terms of all the controversies around Trump?!? It's been repeated over and over for months.

You wouldn't care if a POTUS had serious debt to a foreign government or personal investments with a foreign government?

Do you care if professional athletes have serious debt to bookies?

Especially with all of the talk that Trump has about Clinton Foundation.

How can anyone not be interested in tax returns but be completely invested in emails? That is mind-boggling.

not interested in either, as you'll notice by my lack of commentary in email threads.

Do you think they put that on their tax returns?

Plus as I have said before you will need "all" of his business fillings not just his personal returns. He could and should have a very clean personal return. His company returns would have the information you're looking for. All big debt as well as charitable giving wont be listed on his personal returns.

Part of having 7500 different scandals popping at one time is that it's really easy to keep the plates spinning.

Yes. The idea that CNN, MSNBC don't talk about his tax returns is just not in accordance with reality. Just like Covert said, both channels had panels on about it LITERALLY two minutes after Jon posted this and he's been hammered about his taxes for months.

Hell, even FOX picked up the tax return story when one of his years was leaked.

Just because it's Hillary's turn in the news cycle go round because of Comey doesn't mean the media just ignored Trump's taxes and continue to do so.

There's just not NEW news there and the new news right now is unfortunately about the email.

You don't really think that outside of Fox, the media is in any way favoring Trump do you?
Trump should release them because his financial commitments are parcel to his ability to govern.
Academic and residential/citizenship records should be automatic as well, so we don't go through this crap
    every time.

You can't passive aggressively brush off the interest in Hillary's emails at the same time though.
Not only were they not secure, but the contents are in some ways shocking. I never took the time
to read them before this weekend. Look into it if you dare.
