this thread is predicated on the idea that the GM thinks he is still secure in his job, but is actually going to get fired at the end of the season. Meaning, he thinks he can still build for the future even though he won’t be making the draft picks, thank God.

Buddha - love him, one of my favorites. He has to go this season for whatever we can get. we need the best used car salesman ever to convince some team to trade for him.

Froholdt - The Packers Center is horrific. Jon Gaines is an adequate Center and will still get us the #1 pick. Get some draft capital while we can.

Sweat - just need to convince teams that he hates Arizona and that’s why he’s playing so bad. Keep pointing to prior seasons and see what you can get for an offer.

Paris Johnson - I really hate to even put him out there because I love how he greets every player that comes to the Cardinals, but left tackle is always a coveted position and we might be able to swing a high draft pick for him. he only has one year left on his contract.

Jacoby or Minshew - there has some team that lost their quarterback to injury that is desperate enough to trade something for one of these guys. We obviously need to see what we have in Beck. get what you can and move on.

That’s all I got for potential trades.
Obviously, very interested in your thoughts.

to quote my kids, “bruh”. anything to add?
While we are disappointed with these players they still represent some of the most talented players on this roster. Add better talent, then get rid of them. The OL doesn’t get better without Fro and PJJ. Baker is cut at the end of the year anyways so he is fine tho you won’t get much.

Why are people excited to give Monti more draft picks to waste?

You missed the 1st line. MO is not making these picks, he’s fired.

Do you really think trading Budda for a 3rd or 4th round pick really helps this team? First off the odds of that pick becoming an impact player is low, but the message it would send to the rest of the team and the league of dumping the most loyal player and a leader of the team is even worse.

Paris Johnson - what pick are you getting for him? It isn't going to be top 10. Odds of picking someone with the pick you get who is better than him is slim to say the least. That is just a dumb idea, every team needs a left tackle and even if he isn't top tier, he is at least average.

I don't really agree with any of these moves except for possibly sweat, because he has been awful, but then why would anyone want to trade for that?

I don't see getting anything of value for any of them except for PJJ and it would be asinine to trade him.

The Card's GM Monti does not believe in making trades or picking up veteran players to help the team.
