Depends on how his knee is. IIRC, he tore multiple ligaments, not just the ACL

The problem is the price. If they could get him on one of Keim’s make goods for say $3 mil, I’d sign him. The situation is he’s likely a little too old at safety to sign for that unless his market has collapsed.

I always thought Jefferson was much like Rashad Johnson but more physical, which had me sort of hoping that Deionte Thompson was of a similar mold of being able to command the backside of a secondary

We defo need a vet safety so in theory yes.

But he's never going to sign for Kiem on a friendly deal. He does not like him.

Didn't we learn anything from the Swearinger fiasco? No to this! Younger, faster, better is the rallying cry. We can address the secondary through the draft.
