He was there with his wife & infant twins.
Changed companies and moved back to AZ to be closer to family and was loving it! Then I took a promotion, and 10 days into the new job and I am hating it! I really hope it gets better. Otherwise I am already thinking of bailing!
Hope things get better for your job.
I feel your pain....I am 5 months in and it hasn't gotten better.
Hollywood, I am building a plan on my ejecting from my spot. My job is management. First thing keep stats on what you are doing on a spreadsheet, each day enter your number. Second, I am going to turn my place around. Third, I am toying with becoming an expert and writing a book, manual, blog, whatever I can do to demonstrate I know my stuff. Fourth, I will look for another spot that hopefully I like better.
I know your other job sucked, too! Work it brother! Make your escape!
Today one of my homeowners told me to let him know when I am ready to come work for him. I almost said yes.

Don't sell yourself short. Make sure you get the wages, benefits, etc., you need.
My first born moving into his dorm today. On one hand I am filled with pride and joy. I am extremely happy for him to experience this new chapter. He is a bright and intelligent kid.
On the other hand, he is my first born. The wife and I won't be there to protect him, see him on a daily basis, laugh at some of the things he does, see him eating us out of house and home, arguing with his sisters and that sucks!
We know he will be great and do great things. However, as this thread is titled this both sucks and rules!
I remember almost everything about college. It's a good thing you are not there!
I am fully aware. I am actually excited for him to experience some of those things. It's the dynamic in the house that is changing and sucks. His two younger sisters did not handle it well last night. Well neither did mom. LOL.
I hear ya! That makes break times the best!
