    All slander is defamation. Not all defamation is slander. If that makes sense.

    This is getting confusing. It's completely absurd that anyone would have to prove Dilley didn't know that saying Schiff effs kids was a false statement.

    The burden of proof is also higher for public officials.

    Not that that necessarily applies.
