Ever since the Baltimore Ravens joined in 1997-98, when there would be 5 bird teams, one bird team has played in the SuperBowl at least once every 4 seasons. There has been a 3 year SuperBowl drought of bird teams. The last bird team to go to the SuperBowl were the Eagles in 2017-18 when they beat the Patriots. So that means one of the bird teams must be in the SuperBowl this year.
There’s the Cardinals and Ravens who are doing well this season at 6-0 and 5-1 respectively. The Cards are 5-0 all time in playoff home games, while the Ravens haven’t done too well in playoff home games in their history.
Therefore, this will be the Cardinals’ year to go to the SuperBowl.
