    And the obligatory Russian connection....

The proposed cuts come as the Coast Guard is increasingly seen as playing an important security role with regard to US interests in the Arctic and Western Hemisphere. Russia has been rapidly ramping up its military presence in the Arctic, building new installations and holding large-scale exercises, and the Coast Guard is charged with ensuring US access to the region via its operation of America's only icebreakers.

"Russia has 40 icebreakers, I've got two," Zunkuft told the conference last month.
The Coast Guard commandant has accused Moscow of "saber-rattling" by conducting unannounced military drills involving thousands of troops in the Arctic arena.

Why are the Russians only capable of making thing on Earth worse? 100% criminal malignancy at all times. What good has ever come from a country with more space and resources than any other? If they're not killing Ukranians, they're troll bombing the world internet. If they're not helping gas the Syrians, they're messing with world elections. They are militarizing the Arctic now? When was the last time they developed a vaccine? Or sent aid to a starving country? The whole country is stoned hackers and drunken clods.

I feel like this was settled in Helsinki.

"...I have President Putin. He just said it's not Russia. I will say this: I don't see any reason why it would be."

I watched an interview with Andrew McCabe, and no matter how you feel about him, he does know about these things. According to him, the Russian Mob is essentially a paramilitary department of the Russian Government. Also, every Russian official needs the mob to launder the money they keep grifting off the Russian people.

Haha, how stupid are Alabama taxpayers? Republicans fleecing the rubes as usual.

Alabama bill would allow tax refunds to fund border wall

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — The Alabama Senate has moved forward a bill that would allow Alabamians to donate part of their state tax refunds to help build a border wall with Mexico.

Senators voted 23-6 Thursday to approve the bill by Republican Senate President Pro Tem Del Marsh.

It would allow residents to check a box on their state income tax form and donate to Build The Wall Inc., a nonprofit started by veteran and amputee Brian Kolfage.

Marsh says it is a way for people to show support for President Donald Trump and the wall proposal.

I can see it now. By default, the box is checked, so you have to uncheck it to opt out. They'd have their wall money in no time!

Republicans will deceive people about anything. And the dumb base will buy it all.
