Plot holes, horrible dialogue and Corey Stoll's wig are just 3 of the more ridiculous aspects of this show.

That said, there is a certain amount of fun--and probably opportunity for many different drinking games. I saw the whole series run and it wasn't good, but I also saw it concurrently with SyFy's Z Nation, so The Strain probably seemed MUCH better than it really is.

Ha. I have not bothered watching a single episode. The trailers told me enough. The FX looked bad at times, the acting and the writing also bad. Honestly, it was partly what I expected to see out of The Walking Dead when I first heard about it.

You are more right than you know. They are trying to do everything they can to copy Walking Dead. Except with much worse acting. And worse scripts.

But at least they got zombies and they've gone way over the top on some of the kills/gore.

When this came out I was all in. Then after three episodes I was all out.
Their rediculous take on vampires was insulting.

So anyway. I just binged the entire series.
I enjoyed it. It was disgusting at times. But might be Kevin Durands best work....and it was refreshing to see Walder Frey play a character I didn't despise...really good character in fact.
The kid was despicable...he should have been thrown from the 130th floor of some building...but I guess he redeemed himself.

It was better now than when it came out. Maybe because I'm not such a vampire purist anymore
