Great stuff. Literally many most all agree.
This is some of the most delusional nonsense since Jeff Blake’s sister was here.
Your take about the Cardinals “having” to take Murray was pretty nonsensical, but I was trying to be nice by giving you the benefit of the doubt.
You don't draft a player because you want to keep him away from a division rival. You draft a player because he gives your team a better chance to win games.
WAR is a fun Stat to look at in this case and really sheds a light on why a transcendent QB is much better than Aaron Donald.
For example, Mahomes was 6 games better than Donald last year.
If they like Murray.... They will take Murray.

Drafting Bosa gives you a better chance to win games while keeping them away from a division rival.
Win-win. It can be both in this case.
He wasn't even CFL material.
Who says there is no market for a trade down besides you?
Oakland could very well be a trading partner for Bosa and for good reason : they had all of 12 sacks last season and they have the draft capital to make the deal.
Says common sense. They traded Mack, that's why they have no pass rush. They'll use the 4 to get Josh Allen then 24 and 27 to grab two more players.
Wanting Bosa, as opposed to Allen, is not bereft of commonsense given that we have no idea as to how they rate the two.
you could argue that they didn't use common sense when trading Mack away, so maybe they go the nonsensical route again? Gruden's a different cat!!
If Murray is as good as you and others are saying why is there no market for a trade down? Wouldn't one of these teams needing a QB trade up for a QB so good he is worthy of the #1 overall pick?
Great point. There are actually teams that do need a QB...

I agree you can't reach with the number one pick out of need. The safe pick is Bosa. If Rosen is still the worst QB in football next year, you'll have a choice of Tua, Fromm or Herbert. If you can wait another year Trevor Lawrence looks truly transcendent, but he's s long shot unless the cards are 0-16 terrible, since I'm sure teams will tank for a shot at Lawrence.
