In response to one of Warner's brain farts:

Countries with universal health care systems spend relatively half of the GDP costs of the US to cover 100% of their citizens. It's both good policy and good business, as it relieves companies, large and small, of having to pay health premiums. All political persuasions in countries with these systems are in support; it's not a left-right thing.

Some countries offer free university education paid from general revenues; France for one, and others depending on economic circumstances are partially free and reasonably priced, such as Canada.

On the first, the result is better health outcomes throughout life and generally longer lifespans than in America.

On the second, the result is a better-educated workforce in keeping with present needs.

The US is 10% behind its northern neighbour in the percentage of people with college and university degrees.

The argument that America the richest country on the planet cannot match these public policy efforts due to cost, or any other argument, shows a gagging lack of foresight.

I’m with you, but quit calling it free.
It most certainly isn’t. To call it free is dishonest.

Universal HC = paid from general tax revenue.

Tuition Free to students = paid from general tax revenue.

There are a number of variations on financing universal health care that can involve both public and private financing, but the point of all is to ensure this "right" to all.

I'm more inclined to support a means test when it comes to college and university tuition. This approach, as a rule, ensures that all may attend post-secondary educational institutions, should they qualify. This has two direct and obvious benefits: an educated workforce and upward social mobility.

    Joseph Goebbels is aging well.

I find it really funny that there supposedly was this grand Obama/DNC conspiracy against Trump the candidate where they got all this info that has later led to investigations and indictments (all by republican ran groups)... and Obama and the DNC used exactly... none of it during the elections.

And still, you post Trump’s ventriloquist dummy. You do know that there is no way a) this idiot is a reliable source, and b) you further dig yourself in that massive hole you are already in when you post his un-American propagandist drivel?

Yeah. I understand how invested you are in the lies. Do you feel more confident because the MSM all parrot the same information?

Consensus can be a comforting thing to low information types. But I’ll just stick with the truth. No matter how lonely that might be on this Star Wars bar scene site.

How exactly am I invested?! I know that’s the excuse you like to make as a Cult Forty Fiver but it doesn’t wash.

Nobody is more low information than Fox viewers. Would you like to see the data behind that?

    I bet you don’t.

Despite the stupidity of Fox viewers I still watch it daily because I want to hear the other side. Also as an ex-Republican I have always watched Fox News. But but....MSM.....comfort.....blah blah.

    What else you got?

How about Sean Scammity video where he contradicts himself?

    I bet you don’t.

You wouldn’t know the truth if it was tattoos on your forehead.

Explain to me in your infinite wisdom how I am invested in either party?

I can’t wait to hear the Cult Forty Fiver logic on this one.
