Not only that but the Nflpa should insist any team playing on Thursdays should have the previous Sunday off as their bye. It would mean about 3 less Thursday nights but the quality of the games would increase dramatically. It is brutal to make a player play in 4 days with one of those days being a travel day.

I've been for years about the number of players permitted on the NFL squads! The owners utilize it for cost control. Just increasing the allowed number by a few would make a big difference.

And yes, Thursday night games are stupid!
