Will Jake Lamb ever be more than an average hitter with high strike out rate?

As a lefty power hitting 3B (who has disappeared during the second half of the past two seasons), he just doesn't play like a threat at bat.

I never expect him to come through in a clutch situation. His easy going manner seems to carry over to his performance. And his fielding is spotty.
