Why would it depend if we’re still losing?
Those losses to the packers and colts doesn't tell me this team is horrendous. They competed with some of the best teams in the league. Kyler plays its a blowout both games

The horrendous Browns beat that same Packers team. The middling(maybe average?) Panthers team just beat that Packers team in Lambeau. The Jekyll & Hyde Steelers just beat the Colts. Why golf-clap for “competitive losses” when bad/middling teams are actually beating them?

Are you making this a Kyler thing to try and rattle cages? Lol. I’m saying give any QB in the NFL 40 attempts and they will get at least 250+ yards 9 times out of 10. Not sure why that’s hard to understand? Also I’d wager we are calling near the same amount of plays a game before Brissett.c
You don't GIVE a QB that many pass attempts unless you come out guns a blazing and ignore the run. A QB may EARN that many pass attempts by, gee, not going three and out, turtling under pressure, sucking out loud, etc. Take your pick. JB has managed to stay on the field longer and run the passing offense better, so he will obviously be getting more passing attempts.

The stans started the argument in this thread, and are seriously trying to pretend like JB hasn't played better than KM this season? Again? Still? Sad. Incredibly sad.

Panthers won that game with Bryce Young’s statline being 101 0/1.

Brissett had a much better game than that against the same opponent & we still lost.

That is *coaching*.

Question.

Hypothetically, say Kyler doesn’t take another snap for the Arizona Cardinals

But we still end up losing a lot of games

Where does the blame goes towards to next?
Aside from Kyler being in or out, I unfortunately don't think it's a hypothetical that we lose a lot of games down the stretch. Kyler is a problem, a big problem, but he's not the only problem. IOL inadequacy, and an inability to help out a bad RT, too, against top pass rushers. Bad coaching on both sides of the ball and especially at the HC position. Inadequate personnel provided by the GM. The owner is a clown and infects the organization from top to bottom. And let's not forget the injuries.

lol point proven.. Jacoby had 11 more attempts for 59 more yards. Kyler is averaging a putrid 6 yards per an attempt. So in this comparison on 11 more attempts kyler would have had 66 more yards. More than BBQ lol. Try again please - hilarious
JB IS AVERAGING 7.4 yards per attempt.

Steelers are 1st in their division, Panthers can still win their division wouldn't call them bad or middling. Browns are in same boat as us need to find their guy at qb

you'd have to be high to get kyler murray 40 passing attempts - first of all you'd have to start by calling 50 passing plays because he only throws it 80% of the time - it's not like he's running for big numbers - just trying to get out of bounds before getting hit

secondly - and this is important - sustained drives - this leads to you guessed it - more passing attempts - but you need the deep ball for sustained drives - you need to hit multiple receivers - you need to stay in the pocket and take the hit if you have to

i think you need some weed my friend
As I stated before check the number of plays ran.

um okay? lol go look at the math I just did.. guessing you’re dealing w less than a full deck upstairs to still think you’ve proven a point
If you think KMs only problem is that he does not get enough passing attempts than you need more help than I give you on an internet message board. Nobody is saying JB is a great QB. Only that he is better than KM and gives the team a better chance of winning.

There will always be 2 types of coaches. Ones who bend players to their system and oneswho bend their system to the players. Petzing seems to be the first type of coach. That’s why Bissett did much better with the offense. I still favor dumping both.

I don’t think there’s much of a gap between us and the Niners tbh. I didn’t have McCaffrey miraculously recovering from two lower body injuries last season and carrying the offense in year 10. They have the edge based on coaching.

So do you think Kyler has be Sabotaged by Petzing play calling. Or did Brissett allow Petzing to call a more open passing attack?

Did I say that? No… do I think Petz’s play calling has become a tad less conservative and he is calling more passing plays more so as a product of having no RBs, no offense line and pressure on him to change something? Ya for sure. Stats say that as well more so than anyone’s eye test. Let’s also not ignore that the Colts not having their CB1 and CB2 dictated to pass more as well.

Offense looks better w JB in it, but it still doesn’t look good by any means.. certainly not good enough to win. Also still aren’t utilizing your WR1 the way he should be used.

Again this isn’t a Kyler conversation. This is a this offense sucks and is boring as AF.. not going to win with it in the NFL conversation.

Note, I didn’t say you were saying anything. That would be a statement. I asked a question.
