To be fair, even though this is a "remake", there are only 3 previous iterations of it and they are all movies.

Yeah only three already...but these guys are gonna make a whole series about...a day.
Real time filming?

Has anyone been watching this? It is a British remake of an older book and two movies (one with Bruce Willis). I am enjoying it.

1st episode was solid. Dug the vibe/tone of the show. Let’s see if episode 2 sucks me in for the duration.

OK. Watched up to episode 5. Really good show and I heard this was renewed for a 2nd season. How this season has unfolded? I don't see how this show doesn't get utterly ridiculous stretching this out beyond the premise of the book. His character for the most part isn't someone you really cheer for anyway. Highly skeptical this should have been anything but a limited series.

This is the first thing I’ve ever liked Redmayne in. It’s solid enough to watch with my Dad and that’s good enough for me right now.

I kinda wonder if at the end of this season, he rips off a mask and he’s a totally different person, with another actor underneath, who’s also got another life we meet next season.

Only wonder that because there’s a bust of Redmayne’s face mask in that secret room kinda indicating that the face we see isn’t necessarily his either… also makes it so any actor can play the role moving forward as a way to switch the story up season after season.

Ha! What a stupid call that was for the end of the season.

I dug it though. Good show that doesn’t give easy answers at the end of the day.
