As long time bettor in Canada(rules way more relaxed), I never accept the free bonus money when signing up. Too many restrictions in fine print. I remember turning a free $50 into 3 grand and getting some bs about violating policy.

The Cardinals entered into a partnership with BetMGM and are building a sportsbook inside State Farm Stadium. Should we just ignore that?

Don't like it - don't enter the thread about it.

No one asking you to place bets or forcing you to read up on gambling.

Or just put it into a different forum. I don't come here expecting to read threads about State Farm, either. In fact, considering how big fantasy football and sports betting is, just create an entire forum for it.

Edit: Yeah, there is a Fantasy forum. Just make it the Fantasy and Sports Book Forum. Solved.

total yards for AJ Green vs Titans, cant find one listed yet but take the over when they release weekly player props

edit: old coworker from Oregon put $750 for cards to win the division, he's got 2 flights booked already, he's really bullish on the Cards this year

Didn't seem to bother you back in the day... Weird.

Quite a few "betting" threads over the years and you responded to most of them...or talked of bets in threads. Shocking that it is so offensive to your sensibilities suddenly.

Ok Section 11 came up with this idea a few weeks ago. All those interested in lumping into a bet pool where we will put our mony down on the BIG RED make sure you show your interest in this thread! If you answer to this thread I will PM you my address where you can send the money being that...

The Cardinals have not entered into any partnership with a cigarette company, so no.

As a matter of fact, you still need to leave the stadium to go to a designated smoking area in order to smoke at games.

Who said anything about my sensibilities? I don't have anything against sports betting. My concern is having promo threads for this betting site or that betting site clogging up the board. I would not like that. As far as talking about bets in threads, yes, that's happened, mainly with avatar bets and whatnot, but that's apples to oranges. We haven't used the football forum to directly advertise sports betting sites before.

The Cardinals have never partnered with a betting site before now. Things change.

I don't think the forum will fall apart if there is one dedicated thread about BetMGM.

It is funny to me that there were two previous threads - regarding sports betting becoming legal in AZ and a sportsbook being built inside the stadium - and neither thread got comments like this one. :rolleyes:

One dedicated thread isn't bad and won't be a problem, no. I was simply hoping it isn't a trend.
