Since we still have weeks to go before the draft and nothing to do before then but rehash the same arguments about what the Cardinals should or will do... thought i'd post some Cardinal-related excerpts from this piece that ran in the Athletic this week. They only considered those who played in the Super Bowl era. They also had a story on "The best to wear every jersey number in Arizona sports history" but since i'm not from Arizona i'll leave that for someone else to post.
3: Russell Wilson. Carson Palmer got one of three honorable mentions (even though he wore #9 with the Bengals).
10: Tarkenton. DeAndre Hopkins got one of three honorable mentions.
11: Fitz. Julio Jones, Phil Simms, and Drew Bledsoe got honorable mentions.
12: Brady. Lots of QBs including Namath got honorable mentions.
13: Marino. Kurt Warner got one of three honorable mentions.
21: Deion. Patrick Peterson got one of seven honorable mentions.
22: Emmitt. Roger Wehrle got one of six honorable mentions.
28: Faulk. Adrian Peterson got one of four honorable mentions.
32: O.J. Edgerrin James got one of four honorable mentions.
35: Aeneas. Neal Anderson got an honorable mention.
46: Tim McDonald. Herm Edwards got an honorable mention.
72: Dierdorf. "Too Tall" Jones and Joe Nash got honorable mentions.
75: Joe Greene. Lomas Brown got one of three honorable mentions.
81: T.O. Jackie Smith got one of six honorable mentions.
93: John Randle. Dwight Freeney got one of four honorable mentions.
96: Cortez Kennedy. Clyde Simmons got an honorable mention.
I think i got all the ones with Cardinals ties on their list.

Do you think they missed anyone?

Larry Centers? Adrian Wilson?
Those were two that came to my mind as deserving at least honorable mentions!

24: Champ Bailey; honorable mentions to Willie Brown, Willie Wood, Darrelle Revis, Ty Law, Charles Woodson, Everson Walls, Marshawn Lynch.
37: Jimmy Johnson (SF cornerback); honorable mentions to Shaun Alexander, Rodney Harrison, Lester Hayes, Carnell Lake.

#24 - I would rate Willie Brown and perhaps even Willie Wood ahead of Champ Bailey.
#37 - Johnson from SF; I can't even recall this guy? Seems like not a lot of all-time greats with #37.
