Well folks, Roe v Wade is officially in peril. The Republican religious fanatics are now coming for women with everything they've got, intent on turning them into baby factories. Are you women out there ready to be forced to give birth to children of molesters and rapists? No? Then speak the hell up before it's too late. They want you barefoot and pregnant. They want to control you via your womb, control your body, control control control!!! Consider this.... 81% of the Alabama senate supported this bill, 81%!!!! And there are copycat bills currently being passed all over the South and Midwest just hoping to get them to the Supreme Court so they can brag that they were the State that finally put women back in their place.

I'm not looking forward to the day when Susan Collins sits by in faux surprise as SCOTUS waddles up to the bench to decide if indeed R vs W is "established law".

    LGBT? Your rights are next.

    Rant over, enjoy the article..........

Alabama’s Near-Total Ban On Abortion Could Be Headed To Court As ACLU Gears Up For Fight

Almost immediately after news broke that the Alabama Senate had voted to approve a measure outlawing almost all abortions in the state, the American Civil Liberties Union announced its intention to sue over the legislation.

“We will not stand by while politicians endanger the lives of women and doctors for political gain,” Alexa Kolbi-Molinas, a senior staff attorney at the ACLU’s Reproductive Freedom Project, told CBS News in a statement. “Know this, Governor [Kay] Ivey: If you sign this dangerous bill into law, we will see you in Court,” the attorney added, referring to Alabama’s Republican governor to whose desk the legislation is now headed.

Though Ivey has not revealed publicly whether or not she will sign the bill, she’s widely expected to.

If signed into law, the Human Life Protection Act would make it a felony for doctors to perform an abortion at any stage of pregnancy except in cases where the pregnant woman’s life is at serious risk; exemptions are not included in the bill for cases of incest or rape.

Alabama Lt. Gov. Will Ainsworth (R) made clear last week that the legislation is a direct effort to get Roe v. Wade overturned.

“It is important that we pass this statewide abortion ban legislation and begin a long overdue effort to directly challenge Roe v. Wade,” Ainsworth said.

After the Alabama Senate approved the bill 25 to 6 on Tuesday night, a slew of activists and prominent Democrats, including 2020 presidential hopefuls, voiced their outrage.

“This is a war on women, and it is time to fight like hell,” Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) declared.

Man, just when you think the country is starting to progress and move forward when Obama was first elected, it takes two giant steps back. Pretty depressing.

I really hate those who long for total control, especially under the guise of religion. Every person I talk to who is completely against abortion also wants to abolish welfare. It is the finest hypocrisy of the land.

We keep seeing this young couple at Sprouts getting groceries using WIC. We've seen the looks they get from people it really annoys me. Sprouts is a healthy veggie type story you would think these people would be enlightened but it's clear they think this couple is somehow bad because they're using WIC at a more expensive store. I've actually heard the 20 something girl tell someone I'd rather feed my baby more expensive healthy food than the crap they sell at Safeway. As we were walking out of the store we heard that woman say to her husband "they should have thought of that before they had a baby." And I bet anything if the couple had decided to have an abortion that woman would have hated on them for that too.

Except those people do not want smaller governments. They only want smaller left wing ideas in government.
