How could the Pacers not pay such a relatively small amount to keep Myles Turner.

I think Turners poor performance in the NBA Finals hurt his value.

He was on the bench during crunch time in the Finals and they are punting on next season due to Haliburton. Celts did the same thing.

They obviously don’t like him. We don’t know what he’s like on the day to day. They tried to trade this dude every year for 3 years now. He no showed in the finals and I think that cemented his fate in Indiana

To his credit, I doubt Mat Ishbia would have punted on a player like Myles Turner for such a relatively small amount.

From the reports I read, they wanted to keep him and the feelings were reciprocated by Turner.

Now the Celtics are going ro rebuild around an injured Tatum? At least they have a championship to show for it.

Credit to Turner if you go back to before he was drafted there were people saying he might not last 5 years because of the way he ran, he was an injury waiting to happen. He had John Lucas literally teaching him how to walk and run so that he wouldn't get injured. He's stuck it out and had a nice career.

But I suspect as others said when Haliburton got hurt it cut the salary offer to Turner as they fully expect next year to be a tough year

I'd be upset if the Suns did that with more than capable backup point guards in Nembhard and McConnell.

Actually, Andrew Nembhard has upside at age only 25.

Precious Achiuwa was a later pick in the 2018 draft that I liked. He would be a good pickup for a team.

If the Suns had room, I'd want him.

I think that went down the drain, once Hali tore his Achillies.

Its an auction. It always looks like a small amount when you only have two bidders. I wonder how high Milwaukee was willing to go.

Yes, but I think that is short-sighted thinking or an excuse not to go above the second tax apron.

I am pretty sure Richards is going to be traded.
You could be right but I don't think so unless the Suns get an offer they can't refuse. I think they want him as insurance. If someone offers something stupid the Suns have to consider it.

I’m saying we don’t have room so who would be the person you would move?

I used the word if.

If I were to move a player(s), it would be to get below the second tax apron, so that might be Allen or O'Neal or trading Richards. Whatever math that makes it work.

Who do you want to move?

The Rockets are waiving Jock Landale. Lots of players hitting the market that can play.

2 Warriors rumors. They are trying to get Al Horford in FA. And the Kings offered Devin Carter and Keion Ellis for Kuminga and the Warriors are holding out for a better deal they want Monk and not Carter.

I love Horford my goodness he's 39 years old. Him, Steph, Draymond and Butler they could start Riley Curry as the 5th and still be the oldest lineup in the league, maybe in history
