Just watched last night's game.

Comments:

1st Period:
Great attacking in the opening period
Wide open shots by Yotes missed by inches
Schmaltz good pressure
Kessel put one off the post with a wide open net. Ugh
Goal - Dvorak + Cagiulla with great passes for Pitlick's goal
Goal 2 - Schmaltz from Garland who had some nifty stick work
We dominated the 1st again same as previous game. Possibly the best 20 period of hickey played this year?
Up 2-0, outshot STL 15/9

2nd Period:
Rantaa - unbelievable athletic saves
STL puts one between his legs but bounces off post, nice to see other teams clanging for a change
Goal 3 - Garland with a hell of a rebound, he's the heart & soul of the team and the epitome of hustle
Brilliant save by STL Binnigton on Demers.
STL has a lot of shots this period and outhustled the Yotes
3-0 shots even at 25

3rd Period:
16:45 STL dominated and finally goat a goal at 16:45 at this point, STL is outshooting Coyotes 29/37 (3-1)
17:46 Dvorak hustles on Empty Net and gets one. He has 5 goals in the last 3 games. (4-1)
18:49 Coyotes playing loose and give up goal to STL O'Reilly
19:35 - a lot of STL pressure with empty net. Hoffman is left alone and gets his 2nd
final :25 - pressure from STL but we hold on for the win.

It's frustrating to see the late-game breakdowns but I'm happy with the win.

Yeah, that last period was the exact reason you don't take your foot off the gas. Prevent defense that almost prevented a win. That is not our game and had the game been about 5 seconds longer, we would have ended up in overtime with zero momentum.
