Texas softball vs Florida live score updates from Longhorns-Gators in WCWS

Coach Mike White and the sixth-seeded Texas Longhorns open play Thursday in the Women's College World Series against coach Tim Walton and the third-seeded Florida Gators at Devon Park in Oklahoma City.

The Gators, who reached last year's semifinals, are eyeing their first NCAA softball title since going back to back in 2014-15. The Longhorns, who lost in last year's finals to Oklahoma, are chasing their first WCWS title.

The winner of the Florida-Texas game will play either Oklahoma or Tennessee in the second round Saturday while the loser will face the OU-Tennessee loser in an elimination game Friday.
