Texas A&M baseball will step on the diamond for the final time in the 2025 regular season, and stakes could not be higher.
Game 53 offers the Aggies (28-24, 11-18 SEC) an opportunity to take the series from the No. 10 Georgia Bulldogs while keeping their slim postseason hopes alive.
A&M has 11 conference wins after Justin Lamkin's complete game shutout on Friday night, two shy of the 13 wins believed to be the benchmark to earn an at-large bid into the tournament.

In 2024, the SEC had a record-breaking 11 teams make the tournament, and as the conference tournament is set to begin on Tuesday, A&M is firmly slotted into the 14th spot, three out from what's already been done.
