    A few weeks ago I did my first hike in the Superstitions in decades.

    Did the Peralta Trail to Lone Pine. Not a long trail (2 miles to Fremont Saddle), but steep and rocky trail.

    The wife and I have been poking around the Superstitions for about a year.

    We recently just did the praying hands, slot rock loop.

    There are so many great hikes there. Spring is best when it's green and the wild flowers blooming. It's really dry right now.

    Praying Hands to Slot Rock - 5 miles
    Wave Cave Trail - 3.6 miles
    Dutchman and Bluff Springs loop - 9.5 miles
    Hackberry Springs via First Water - 4.7 miles
    Second Water and Garden Valley loop - 5 miles
    Massacre Falls - 5.8 miles
    Boulder Canyon to Viewpoint - 5 miles
