If the moment is frozen in time, then yes, Durant. Otherwise no, because Durant is near the end of his career. Maybe Embiid, if he finally has his health under control. And you have to throw Young in there. Hard to decide about Jokic -- he's awesome, but not an ideal fit for today's NBA. Seems like you have to design a system around him to get the best out of him.

If we're playing the "frozen in time" game and the Suns can keep only one, would it be Booker or Paul?

I would say Booker as we just went 8-3 without Paul

They’re also 8-3 w/o Book and 18-3 w/o Ayton. Jones/Monty built a damn machine.
Yep. The improvement we showed from the Covid season halt to the bubble was impressive. Then, we added Paul and Jae and took another huge step leading to a trip to the finals. Now, this team looks to have taken an ever bigger step than the previous two. IMO this Suns team would have swept last year's Suns team and that's incredible.

Or as James Jones once spoke about, his goal was to build the Suns 3 X 5... three deep at every position.

I like how the Suns were described in a recent podcast. The Suns are a "death machine." It's a good description.
