Okogie is the player I'd like to have on the current Suns, again. KD is an efficient scorer as long as not doing too many ISOs for him which is major source for TO.
Who would you drop from the present rotation to make time for him? Even Royce is playing well.

Obvious answer would be Goodwin, seeing as they're not really playing him on the ball on offense (usually in with Gillespie as far as I can tell). Here are their respective stats (per 36 as they are quite different minutes currently with the injuries Houston has).

Even then, it's all small sample size, nobody should expect JO to continue shooting 60% from 3.

The Suns already have an opening on their standard roster, as they presently are carrying 14 players.

If you want to play ping pong, let's make it a meaningful topic.
Next time I’ll just keep my mouth shut. I agree with JCSunsfan. As much as I like Okogie, who’s playing time would he replace? What’s the purpose of adding him back to the roster?

I like Josh Okogie as a player, even if his game is limited. Jordan Ott might be able to find a role for him if the Suns found room for him. We agree the Suns need a power forward more.

I was only trying to point out the Suns had an open roster spot, so no room would have to made, except as how it might affect the tax aprons and future moves.

We don't need another defender with zero offense. We have that already. We need someone that we can rely on to put the ball in the basket.

I'd have Okogie replace Goodwin on the roster. Per 36min stats are meaningless for comparison, as Okogie is currently playing with the starters and got Udoka's trust. JO also has a better frame to defend all positions except for big Cs.

I wonder how much hes playing due to necessity. The Rockets are loaded with bigs but have used KD as a SG because they lack guards.

Okogie fits Ott's idea of D first with quick transition games, who is smart on court. Anyway, it's unlikely Rox would get rid of him this season.

Okogie would have no business playing with the starters on this team. We have been there and done that with Okogie. He is not going to take minutes away from Dunn, Brooks, Grayson, or Royce. And if he takes potential developmental minutes away from Fleming, who I think is going to be an effective two-way player, then his presence on this team would be a net negative. Yikes. Lets move to the future.

JO is the sf version of Oso. No shot, least JO has defense going for him.

We can only hope that the Durant factor affects them like it did us.
It won’t because all he has to do on that team is score. Sengun and Amen already look like all-NBA players. They have assets to get even better despite being #1 in net ratings thus far.

I wonder if they make a blockbuster move for Ja using our picks and swaps.

That could be viewed as a win now and later move.

Gotta believe Ja's value is pretty low right now. Of course, that's why I am not sure I want him either.
