Malone was alot of things aggressive isn’t one of them he was the king of the 15’ jump shot.
Those elbows of Malone were deadly weapons.

That last Ayton play was an example. Malone would have destroyed that defender on a dunk. Plus I don't remember how many times he would use those elbows to get space on that 15 foot jumper. He wasn't afraid to draw an offensive foul.
Swinging elbows isn’t aggressive play.
Malone was butter soft. Ask Rodman about him. Like it said as big and strong as he was his go to move was pick and roll fade away 15 footer
You might want to tell that to Malone's opponents.

I know the prevailing theory is we need a scorer, but Collins rebounding and shot blocking would be nice!Would you rather have DLO or Collins?
These two guys are the names being linked.
Surprisingly Not really a great rebounder the first year they went to finals he only averaged 9 rebounds.
Barkley much smaller and always averaged more rebounds than Malone.
True. Barkley is underrated. Some of his playoff games are epic scoring AND rebounding. There's guys that say he was not as tall as listed. Which makes his on court feats even more impressive.Surprisingly Not really a great rebounder the first year they went to finals he only averaged 9 rebounds.

Isiah Thomas not a fan of Karl Malone
Part of aggressiveness to me, is going beyond your comfort level of scoring. What I mean is Ayton thinks he's a 20 point scorer. When he hits twenty, he backs off his aggressiveness. I think Ayton thinks his job is done. Whereas guys like Barkley, Malone, Jordan, will keep on scoring past their average to win a game. They mentally will keep the foot on the pedal scoring. Whether it's using a 15 foot jumper, or a dunk. They use their best scoring weapon to keep scoring until the game is won.
