Suns @ Spurs Monday game thread 1-17-2022

The next stop for the Suns is San Antonio to play the Spurs on Monday for the fourth game of their five game road trip.

It's a back-to-back affair with the Suns beating the Pistons on Sunday.

Spurs are 16-27 but beat the Clippers at home on Saturday. They are 2-8 in their last ten games.

Suns improve to 33-9 after winning the first three games of the road trip. They finish the trip on Thursday against the Mavericks.

The game will be televised on Bally Sports Arizona.

Start time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Arizona time.

Monty says Deandre Ayton sprained his right ankle in the 1st quarter of the Pistons game but is unaware of it's severity.
